I moved to Kentucky when I was 15 and went to high school and college there. While living in Kentucky, I lived on a horse farm and showed horses. This incredibly demanding and amazing hobby also led me to learning how to braid.
When I went to college, I was the friend who knew all the braids and hair tricks and tips. I was asked to do styling when my friends got engaged and had done a few weddings (which I was also a bridesmaid in) long before I thought of hairstyling as a career. Fun Fact: I was an agricultural education major in college and I still have the green thumb to prove it.
I was born in Naples, Florida but I can't claim to be born and raised here, unfortunately.
Hi, I'm Brenna - your friendly redheaded hair artist.
Fresh out of hair school, I apprenticed Kate Owens at Kate's Kuts salon in Bonita Springs, Florida. I worked at her salon for a couple years until she expanded her business into suite rental opportunities. I was so excited to have my own studio for my clients to feel beautiful, comfortable and inspired.
I've been blessed with a few wonderful mentors in my career and I'm eternally grateful for each of them, Kate especially for supporting me through every step of the way.
I moved back to Naples, Florida in 2013 and my stepmom owned a hair salon. I started working the front desk and doing shampoos and was able to soak up so much knowledge and insider info on the beauty industry. I also assisted and apprenticed at Salon International in Naples, Florida and was able to learn from hairstylists who had been doing hair nearly as long as I had been alive. I decided I wanted to become a hairstylist and went to the Bonita Springs School of Cosmetology in 2015 and I have been licensed and insured since 2016.
I'm forever grateful for the beautiful brides who have trusted me with their hair on their big day. My goal is for each person who sits in my chair to feel beautiful inside and out when they leave it. I love my career and hair is absolutely my passion.
